With 25+ years of running experience and 5+ years of coaching experience, Josh truly believes in the transformative power of fitness and racing. He is a NCSF Certified Personal Trainer, a RRCA Certified Running Coach, and a CLCI Certified Life Coach. He recently completed his 8th half marathon (1:26:05) and is training for his 4th marathon where he will aim to BQ. He also holds an MBA from Georgia Tech and an MA from The Seattle School of Theology and Psychology. He has spent the last several years in the corporate world and understands the challenge of balancing a full time career and marathon training.
Everyone is a runner, from the novice who just laced up a pair of shoes yesterday to the seasoned veteran athlete. Further, the distaste of running can be overcome and mental fortitude can be taught. Coach Josh takes a holistic mind, body, and soul approach to training, leveraging his background in psychology, fitness, and life coaching to help create, meet, and overcome challenges. He incorporates a variety of runs, strength training, and mobility work, while recognizing the value of regular touchpoints. His coaching aims to transform you both externally and internally, giving you a happy, full, and flourishing life.
A variety of services are offered, including one-on-one in-person and online coaching, race training plan creation, and fitness-oriented life coaching. Coach Josh has worked with clients of all ages and fitness levels, from middle and high school athletes to middle-aged novices simply looking to stay in shape. Programs will be customized to meet your unique needs and goals.
